A Mountain Brew Escape

Up in the mountains outside of Kona, we found this gem of a coffee farm. They offered a coffee flight tasting with delectable pairings. They had tea tastings too that were really good. We loved the vibe here. Our barista, Lynn?, was great! She was knowledgeable and fun. There were others that welcomed us onto the property such as peacocks, dogs, cats, birds which include turkeys. We also met Manny of Manny's coffee who was fun to talk to. Definitely a highlight of our trip

A Taste of Aloha and Adventure

Staff was beyond friendly and generous. We were welcome to explore their unique and vast estate before the tastings, which featured many fun things to see and explore. The coffee tasting was a great experience, as it also featured several nuts and chocolates to complement every flavor. The environment of this place is exactly what you expect from a Hawaiian visit: the views, taste, and generosity were unmatched.

I would give this place at 6 star rating if I could.

We did not do the tours, but we did do a coffee tasting and had a great discussion about coffee growing, coffee brewing and coffee drinking. All the coffees, which are estate grown, are amazing. The owners recently acquired a bakery and the baked goods are mouth-watering. I came away with several different types of coffee and some estate ground turmeric. You can order off their website and I suspect this will be my Christmas gift for everybody this year.
